Microgreen was established in 2011 to supply solar energy system parts: solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables and connectors, as well as the hardware for installation.  

 

We design, manufacture, and distribute systems for solar generation and energy storage, for stationary and mobile applications. We make customized lithium battery packs for using in residential dwells, RVs, boats.  We also supply commercial/industrial energy storage system in cabinet and container size.


We have our office, showroom and warehouse in the city of Markham.  Orders can be picked up from our warehouse or shipped to customers.

Our Leaders

R.K. Hong, CEO

RK Hong, CEO of Microgreen, brings technical expertise and vision to market innovations. With 20 years in international business, he has held roles at Deutsche Telekom and Teco Electric. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. 

 

Lewis Reford, Chairman of the Board

Lewis Reford leads corporate strategy at Microgreen. With over 15 years in renewable energy, he has served as CEO of Schneider Power and Reservoir Capital, and held roles at MGI Securities and J.P. Morgan. He holds a degree in geophysical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Davy Hung, Vice President

Davy Hung oversees engineering and supply chain at Microgreen. With 15 years in solar and storage, he ensures products meet performance and safety standards. Davy holds a MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
